Becoming an APLA Member The Association for Political and Legal Anthropology invites anyone interested in APLA activities to become an APLA member. APLA members receive PoLAR, published twice a year. The cost for individual APLA membership is $30.00, $15.00 for students; APLA members must also be AAA members. Non-members may subscribe to PoLAR for a fee. Membership and subscriptions are handled by the AAA and not by the APLA.
