APLA-L The APLA Electronic Mailing List We have established an electronic mailing list called APLA-L in order to provide timely information about APLA activities and related academic news. We invite all those who wish to receive announcements of our activities via e-mail to subscribe to this electronic mailing list. There is no charge, and subscribers can unsubscribe at any time. Mailings will be limited to two per week (or fewer), and the list will not be used for the exchange of messages among individuals subscribers. APLA-L will be used to call for submissions to PoLAR and to announce publication of its issues; to call for papers for APLA-sponsored AAA panels and to announce these panels as well as workshops and invited speakers; and to call for submissions to the annual APLA Student Paper Prize and to announce its winner. It is our hope that in addition to faculty and graduate students who are themselves interested in APLA activities, department heads and administrative staff who may be able to forward information on APLA activities to interested colleagues and students will also subscribe to the APLA-L electronic mailing list.To subscribe, please email Kathryn Henne at khennebe@uci.edu.
