Open Call for Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We will be recruiting volunteers for the 2013 Annual Meeting in Chicago soon.
To ensure the meeting runs smoothly, AAA is looking for a limited number of students to volunteer their time and talent. We are looking for volunteers to assist in staffing booths, greeting attendees, assisting members and reporting for Anthropology News.
The critical work that student volunteers do does not go unrecognized. Here are perks volunteers may enjoy:
-Students who provide eight or more hours working at the booths and other onsite activities will receive a free one-year membership to the American Anthropological Association
-Students who volunteer to write will enjoy the visibility of having their work on Anthropology-News.org, website of Anthropology News - an internationally renowned publication.
Please note that event registration is not included. Volunteers will still need to register for the AAA Annual Meeting to be eligible.
