AAA Presents New Inno-vents for the 2010 Annual Meeting

AAA is pleased to introduce “inno-vents,” a new event category for the annual meeting. See the meeting website for details. Like panel proposals, inno-vent proposals are due by 5:00 pm on April 1.

AA Launches Public Anthropology Reviews

American Anthropologist has launched a new section—Public Anthropology Reviews—to recognize anthropological work appearing in nontraditional formats, such as on websites or published by NGOs. Its debut reviews materials from the US National Park Service, YouTube, and the US-Mexico Border and Immigration Task Force.
