Annual
Campaign
'Tis
the Season
Our
annual campaign aims to build a culture of giving among our
membership and to bring our teaching, research, and practice
into the 21st century. This year we are focusing on creating a
national internship program, expanding the message of the Race
project to creating K-12 educational materials, and developing
a Gray Literature and Technical Report Portal. Read more about
these projects here.

AAA
Office
Holiday
Schedule
The
AAA offices will be closed from Dec 24, 2010 through Jan 2,
2011. On behalf of the leadership and staff of AAA we wish
everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year.
Update
on AAA’s New Association Management System – What to Expect
in January
AAA’s
new membership software system (Association Management System)
will go live early next year. The new system will provide
improved functionality, a more user-friendly experience for
members and visitors to the site, and streamline our back
office operations. The expected launch date for the new
systems is Feb 1, 2011. Prior to that date our membership data
must be converted to the new system. To do that we need to
shut down the old system so that records can be converted.
What that means to membership is that during this time
currently scheduled for Jan 10 through Feb 1, 2011
members will not able to conduct any online financial
transaction (join, or renew membership, make online
purchases etc.), or update profiles online. During that time
members will be able to log-in to AnthroSource. We will
continue to provide updates about the schedule and launch
dates through AnthroNews and on the AAA
website. |
