Description
The Arizona Complementary and Alternative Medicine Research Training Program (ACAMRTP) of the Department of Family and Community Medicine. The University of Arizona, has 2-year post-doctoral fellowships available beginning July 2010. The program provides training in innovative research on whole systems of complementary and alternative medicines (CAM), including but not limited to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, Homeopathy, Naturopathic Medicine, Indigenous Healing Systems, and Integrative Medicine. Qualified applicants will hold a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DO, ND, DC, DOM, PsyD) and some research or training experience in relation to CAM therapies. The goal of the program is to support the preparation of individuals for careers as independent investigators in NIH-funded research in academic centers. Eligibility and stipends follow NIH guidelines.
