Dear AAA Member:

We are pleased to present our members, resource partners and others with an interest in the discipline, the American Anthropological Association’s 2008 Annual Report. This report comes with a number of significant changes in the way it was produced, written and formatted, and we would like to highlight a few of these changes for you.

First, as part of the American Anthropological Association’s commitment to be resource conscious, we used paper which contains 50% recycled content, including 25% post consumer waste.

Second, changes in the format of the report, i.e. its “vertical” orientation, lower the overall printing cost.

Third, we have made an effort this year to not only highlight the work of the association at large, but also feature the work of our sections, committees and commissions.

Finally, while our Executive Board, Section Leaders and donors will shortly receive a copy of the report in the mail, we have chose to make only a limited amount of extra copies available by request.
